EXPERIENCE

Jonathan Schreter began his insurance career with Hoffman Brown in 2004 after more than 10 years of providing marketing and advertising consultation to small and mid-sized businesses.  With his diverse background, Jonathan combines creative thinking with rigid analysis and dedicated customer service to provide the right insurance solutions for his clients.

Born and raised in Southern California, Jonathan spent a number of years in the entertainment industry, producing the advertising for the Coca-Cola Company at Creative Artists Agency.  In 2000, Jonathan received his MBA from the Anderson School at UCLA before starting his own marketing consultancy.  While most would be surprised at the career switch from advertising to insurance, Jonathan appreciates the impact his first career has had on his second. 

“As an advertiser, you’re trying to convince the client to take some chances with a unique campaign.  In insurance, you’re working to protect the client so he has the liberty to take those chances.  In either case, you have the opportunity to help them pursue their dreams, and that’s what I like the most.

PERSONAL

Jonathan is Secretary / Treasurer of the IBA San Fernando Valley Chapter.  He lives in Los Angeles with his wife, Jennifer.
