EXPERIENCE

David joined Hoffman Brown Company in 2004.  His responsibilities include the servicing and management of Commercial accounts, new business production and the support of other HBC departments, including Personal Lines, Life/Health.

David has a BA degree in Education and previously taught high school in England for two years before moving to the United States.   David’s insurance career began in 1981 on the carrier side with The Hartford where he spent nine months as a trainee in their marketing department.  For the past 19 years David has worked for an agency located in the San Fernando Valley and, subsequently moved to a large regional broker based in Pasadena.

David has had much experience insuring all types of businesses including contractors, manufacturers, service industries, professional firms, retailers and distributors.  He believes that the sales process is a form of education, so providing the necessary information and documentation to his clients is important so they are empowered to make the best decision in choosing which insurance products to buy.

In striving to provide his clients with professional service, David has increased his insurance knowledge and expertise with continued education.  This has resulted in him earning the insurance industry honored designations of CPCU, ARM & CIC.
