Michael is a true Southern Californian having been born in Los Angeles and raised in the San Fernando Valley. Mike’s first allegiance is to the UCLA Bruins since he graduated from UCLA, but attended USC’s Graduate School of Business just to even things out. (He does root for the Bruins on those UCLA verses USC days.)

Mike has been active in the insurance industry for thirty years. He was an officer for a large California Commercial Insurance Company from 1968 to 1987. He joined Hoffman Brown Company in 1988 and has enjoyed being part of the agency force. Mike has been active in the industry.  Most recently he served as an officer in the San Fernando Valley Agents and Broker Association.

There is a personal side for Mike. He has a wonderful wife, who is a kindergarten school teacher, and their three children. With all of the activities the kids are involved in, there is not much "spare" time.
