| As you might suspect, the Brown
in Hoffman Brown Company is part of a
family he ritage now in its second generation. Steve is the son of
the founder, Bud Brown, who began the company fortyseven years ago. Steve
firmly embraces the same fine traditions of quality and service that
Bud created and nurtured while directing the company towards meeting
the challenges of the 21st century.
Steve is a true leader, who has surrounded himself with a team of managers and staff of the highest quality. He embraces the belief that "learning is a lifelong process" and that there is always a better way to do things. Steve commented that "everyday provides us many new opportunities for progress and growth, and at Hoffman Brown, it shows". Steve continues to commit himself and the Company to improving the community in which we live. Each year Hoffman Brown strongly supports local groups dedicated to activities such as providing food and clothing to the needy, children’s toys for the holidays and organizing a Red Cross blood drive. Additionally, along with Steve’s support and participation a group of 300 employee, family members, and insurance company employees recently spent time providing more than 18,000 care packages for American soldiers stationed in Iraq. His community service extends beyond the office. Steve is an active member of the United Jewish Fund, past president of the Century City Business Council and past president of the Young Entrepreneur Organization. Additionally, he continues to participate with the Fred Jordan, L.A. Family Housing board of directors, and Cedars-Sinai board of Governors. Steve has been married to Linda for twenty years and has two beautiful daughters, Abby and Tracie. Along with his activities, work and family, Steve still tries to find time to play some tennis, golf and work around the house. |
